Infant Feeding clinics

These clinics provide an opportunity for parents and carers to speak with a member of the Health Visiting team about infant feeding concerns and to be given information and advice. See below for a map of venues and times of clinics - click on the location pin for details.

All our staff have been specially trained to help you feed your baby. Whether you fully breastfeed, give expressed breast milk or formula by bottle. We will give you the best possible information and support.

You can drop into the clinics and find support from our Infant Feeding Health Visitor team for:

• Thinking about feeding your baby for expectant parents  
• Getting started with breastfeeding for pregnant and new parents  
• Questions about breastfeeding, mixed feeding and formula feeding  
• Expressing breastmilk  
• Information about starting solids  
• Questions about your baby’s weight  
• Returning to work and breastfeeding  
• Stopping breastfeeding  
• Tongue tie and how to get help in Bexley
• Reliable online support and resources  

Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the end of clinic

If you wish to have your baby weighed or need advice, you can drop in to one of our Well Baby Clinics.

The Bexley 0 to 19 service is accredited by UNICEF Baby Friendly Initiative and is here to support you with feeding your baby. Health Visitors have a wide range of knowledge about all aspects of parenting and supporting families. They also work closely with other healthcare providers and agencies and can help you access the right support through signposting and referrals to other services.
