You may meet a Health Visitor during your antenatal period. If you do meet a Health Visitor whilst you are still pregnant, this will be your initial introduction to the health visiting team. The Health Visitor will explore, answer questions and provide information regarding the support and service accessible via the Health Visiting team.

You will also meet a Health Visitor 10-14 days after your baby has been born. The Health Visiting service will work with you and your child, delivering health and developmental assessments until your child is enrolled at school.
