After finding out you are pregnant, you will want to know how pregnant you are and when your baby is likely to be born. You can work out your estimated due date by taking the date of your last menstrual period (LMP) and adding 40 weeks or try the NHS' Due date calculator:
You'll be offered an ultrasound scan at around 10 to 14 weeks of pregnancy. This is called the dating scan and is used to see how far along in your pregnancy you are and to check your baby's development.
